Safeguarded for centuries, the teachings and practices of the ancient Kichwa peoples of the High Andes Mountains of Ecuador are offered by Taita Iachak Alverto Taxo in fulfillment of a 500-year old prophecy, which spoke of a time when the wisdom of the Condor (heart-centered spiritual cultures of the south) and that of the Eagle (mind-centered industrialized cultures of the north) would be exchanged to restore a more harmonious way of living for all. In the last decade, the signs foretelling the realization of this prophecy appeared. Now, at the request of the Elders, Taita Iachak Alverto Taxo travels north to share and to teach.

Calendar of Events - East Coast 2008

I am happy to announce that Alverto Taxo, Master Ecuadorian  Iachak (photos below)  will be teaching on the East Coast in September of this year.  While Don Alverto is here, he will be offering a free talk, a one day workshop, personal healing ceremonies, and an advanced training (ENCUENTRO). 

The September dates are: 

Free Talk - Friday, September 12, (NY/NJ/CT)

One-day Workshop - Saturday, September 13, ($200) (NY/NJ/CT)

Adirondack ENCUENTRO (Advanced Training) - Sun pm Sept. 14-Sun.am, Sept. 21       
(Adirondack Advanced Training is at a private retreat and is limited to 12 participants -$2500 includes food, lodging, spa)

Workshops, Intensives and healing sessions can fill up quickly, so please let me know if you are interested in any of these offers and I will put you on a reservation list.    Applicants for the Advanced Training must have at least seven years of spiritual or self-growth work.  This is a serious commitment to a path of wisdom and energy medicine.  If you are interested in the Encuentro, you must contact me to discuss your qualifications.  You may guarantee your space at either Encuentro with a deposit of $500. 

The first Encuentro was in the Adirondacks in September of 2007 and was attended by six students.  Dan Koppel, a graduate of the Four Winds Light Body School and a full mesa carrier, commented,  "This is the most amazing week I have ever spent.  With Alverto, I  experienced BEING rather than doing.  It was worth every penny!"
